COVID Advice to Parents
In case of lockdown or school closure due to COVID-19, the following arrangements will occur to ensure continuity of learning for your child. Please note that if advice of a school closure occurs after hours, staff will not be able to access the site for a number of days.
Remote learning will be available for your child to access within 2 days of closure for all students for either a lockdown or school closure. Your child's teacher will email you with timetable and links to learning materials.
Additional online resources are available for Queensland state school students through the Learning Place website using their student log in. This is the same logon and password that students use to log on to the computers in their classrooms.
If your child does not have access to a device and requires hard copies of materials, please contact the school office by email to admin@taigumss.eq.edu.au.
Please note hard copies cannot be provided in event of school closure as no staff will be allowed on site.
Please advise the school office of any change in your contact details (especially email) as soon as they occur.
Parent support materials
Parent support materials for Prep to Year 6 are available to provide additional activities that can be used with the learning packages. These support materials could also be used as standalone resources. They contain:
