Taigum State School P&C are offering a casual position of six hours per week for a canteen conveyor. Position Description:A Retail Manager Level 1 is a person appointed by a P&C Association to co-ordinate that P&CAssociation's retail operations in a school with less than 600 students. That person shall be accountableto the P&C Association.You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks: Coordinate the operation of the school tuckshop and oversee the preparation of food and counter services.Identify stock requirements and place orders with appropriate vendors on a regular basis, ensuring maximum earning potential.Conduct regular stocktake, recording and reporting processes.Maintain accurate and appropriate records for the tuckshop and associated catering operations including filing of ordering, receipt and associated documentation.Coordinate the establishment and maintenance of a network of community volunteers to assist with the provision of a quality school tuckshop service.Deliver a quality service to students and customers through approved marketing arrangements.Ensure food storage and handling is appropriate, hygienic and in accordance with the standards outlined by health controlling authorities within relevant legislation and regulations.Provide effective supervision and appropriate training and assistance to volunteers in the performance of their roles, including preparation and notification of rosters.Observe Workplace Health and Safety Practices to ensure that the tuckshop and equipment is operated and maintained in a safe and hygienic manner, and display emergency procedures in a prominent location.Oversee cash handling and related security processes, collect monies and balance funds at the end of the day, bank takings.To apply please provide the following information: - a covering letter, CV and supporting documentation, working with children Blue card.
